Making it happen
Before we set the wheels in motion, we want to be sure your learning solution will deliver the best possible outcomes. So we use a carefully structured planning process to come up with the right format and content.
It’s a streamlined way to make sure everything is covered within the boundaries of your budget and timings.

- Analysis
- Strategy development

- Delivering the solution
- Evaluation
- Sustainability management
1. Partnership formation
Once we've met and are comfortable working together, we collectively ensure the task is fully understood and discuss key issues.
2. Analysis
A vital step, and one that’s often skipped when using an off-the-shelf package. To deliver real change we need to get to grips with your organisation’s unique issues. Our process is based on Gap Analysis techniques to identify your business requirements.
3. Strategy development
Using the insights generated during briefing and analysis we then craft a strategy that clearly links to your goals. We also develop internal communications, plan key leadership messages to underpin the initiative, and agree on outcomes and the evaluation methodology. At this stage, we will also put together a clear roadmap of the project:
- Draft Project Plan, including resource requirements and timings
- Statement of Work, including detailed costings for approval
4. Putting the team together
We recommend that a Project Team be established from both our organisations to oversee the programme. The Learning Wave will take the initiative to identify the best individuals from our team to deliver your programme.
5. Solution development
Now we know where we’re all going, it’s time to launch the project. The Learning Wave can call on an unrivalled depth of expertise to prepare solutions that engage and motivate your people.
6. Delivering the solution
The Learning Wave offers a wide choice of delivery methods based on adult learning principles, including one-on-one coaching, group facilitation, train-the-trainer, on the job training, and seminar room-based learning both on or off-site. We want to make sure the new skills are embedded, so we will follow up participants on the job to overcome any hurdles that emerge.
7. Evaluation
Back at Stage 3 we worked with you on performance metrics. Now we follow through the solution with measurement. You will receive a full report on the programme’s effectiveness plus feedback notes to help with ongoing evaluation. Depending on the scale of your project, we may also design an evaluation programme to suit your needs.
8. Sustainability management
Making profound changes to an organisation’s culture means equipping your team to carry on the good work internally. We actively seek to support your team so they can continue the momentum. The value we bring is taking the learning from our engagement with you, and feeding it back into your organisation. This is important to guide you in future people development decisions.
