The Learning Wave strongly supports independent research into adult literacy and workplace learning.

In partnership with the Department of Labour we have participated in one of the 15 upskilling research programmes. Because of our ongoing interest in this area, we are able to ensure all our Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) programmes meet the standards of academic rigour.

However, it’s important to note that an academic focus does not drive the solutions we provide. Our Associates are highly trained in the theory behind adult literacy learning, but their aim is always to create an inspiring programme that’s relevant to the individual learner as well as meeting your business objectives.
