Making time for the important not just the urgent

Doing things always takes effort, but not everything you put effort into is done well or even
worth doing.

When you have a purpose to your work and to your life you can pay attention to not just how you do things, but why you do them. It is a process that works for the long haul and is often the work of a professional.

An amateur cake maker leaves the kitchen coated in flour, and sometimes ends up with a
great cake.

A professional baker might not seem to be as flustered, as hassled or even as busy. But the cakes, the result of their mindful process, are worth buying, day after day.

We know that you’re busy working hard.

When you take the time to align your work to your purpose, you may become less flustered, less hassled and maybe even more available for the important things in your role, not just
the urgent ones.
